CubaNet is a non-profit, non-partisan Internet project in solidarity with the Cuban democracy movement. The two main aspects of this project are, one, to provide world-wide access to information on the underground democracy movement inside Cuba and on related efforts on the part of Cubans abroad, and, two, to forge an electronic link with citizens inside Cuba, skirting censorship by the Cuban government. CubaNet dedicates itself to opening channels of free communication among Cubans inside and outside of the country.
